Star Wars Goes Mobile

THQ Inc. expects to release a mobile-based version of Star’s Wars Battlefront game to AT&T by November 1, 2005. THQ Inc. will be partnering with LucasArts and game production company Mikoishi to develop the first head-to-head game for the mobile world.

The multiplayer game release is being coordinated with the release of the DVD, Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith along with the release of Star Wars Battlefront II for PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and the X-Box.

Star War’s Battlefront is one of several multiplayer games to be released by the partnership between THQ Inc., LucasArts, and Mikoishi. The Star War’s game is expected to be far more advanced than most mobile games currently on the market.
